Frequently Asked Questions
Will these work with my Vardeno Saddle 2.0?
Yes. The chamois relief channel and sit-bone support pads are mapped to the geometry of the Vardeno saddle. They'll also work with any saddle that has a center cutout, but they're at their best on ours.
I'm between two sizes. Which way do I go?
Size up. Compression shorts that are too tight cut into the leg, pinch the waistband, and dig the chamois into places you don't want it. A size up still grips, but it sits where it's supposed to.
Do they run small?
They run true to body measurements. Don’t size down for "compression feel." The fabric handles compression on its own. Sizing down is the most common reason riders return them.
I’m 6’1" or taller. Will the inseam be long enough?
Inseam scales with size. Most riders 5’10" and under fit XS, S, or M by waist. Riders 6’1" and up usually want M, L, or XL based on waist plus an extra check on the inseam length in the size chart.
I have heavy quads from cycling. Will the leg opening fit?
Leg openings range from 15" (XXS) to 18.9" (XL) flat, with up to 40% stretch. If your thigh circumference at the leg-opening point is bigger than the flat number for your waist size, size up — the waistband will still grip.
How do I wash them?
Hand wash in cold water. Air dry. The chamois lasts longer this way and the antibacterial treatment stays intact. No fabric softener.
Will they get hot in summer?
The 88% polyester / 12% spandex shell is moisture-wicking and the chamois fabric is treated to release sweat instead of holding it. They run cooler than most thick cycling shorts.
